Listen Carefully!

Sparks for listening, talking, reading and writing within drama

‘Overheard conversations’ involves participants listening in to ‘private’ conversations between characters.

We can use this technique within the drama for a range of contexts across the curriculum.

Consider:
Who might be talking?
Who/what might they be talking about?
When might they be talking?
Where might they be?
Why might they be talking about it?
Who might you be as the listener?

We can support you with bespoke planning, modelling and training to
use the above and other techniques within a drama lesson as part of
your enrichment curriculum.
